BaseStation is a program that comes with Kinetic Avionic's ADS-B radios. It listens to the messages coming from the radio over either USB or Ethernet and it displays the positions of the trasmitting aircraft on a facsimile radar screen.
It also transmits a cleaned-up copy of the aircraft messages over the Ethernet and maintains a database of information about each aircraft that it sees.
